PBIS CURRENT STATUS
GOLD LEVEL AWARD
Gold level schools can document evidence of a comprehensive system of behavior supports in Tiers 1 and 2 or Tier 3. Tiers 1 and 2 or Tier 3 are implemented across all school settings in a physical or virtual school setting. Gold level schools utilize database information to problem solve with PBIS team members and school staff. Evidence of team meeting notes are organized and data collected is used for program planning and implementation.
BRONZE LEVEL AWARD
Bronze (Developing) level schools can document evidence of a comprehensive system of behavioral supports at Tier I. The Essential Elements related to Tier I are implemented with fidelity and consistency across all school settings. Bronze level schools consistently utilized data-based problem solving in existing team structures. These schools could produce evidence of organized team meeting notes and data based program planning. First year schools are only eligible for Bronze Level Recognition.

This CARE Award was received to recognize Hosler Middle School of the Lynwood Unified School District for its outstanding contribution of support and care during the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and resulting disruptions to school. This is for our heroic efforts to provide support of all kinds to California's students, families, and communities did not go unnoticed.
