LUSD Mission Statement
Ensure all students are prepared for life beyond school (TK-12) by ensuring equity of access to reliable and relevant technology to support innovative and creative opportunities.
- Chromebook Daily Usage
Students are to bring their Chromebook charged to school everyday in order to complete their assignments in the classroom. Students are advised to carry their Chromebook charger in case the battery is low, or runs out. All students are to follow Lynwood’s Student Technology Acceptable Usage Policy. Failure to follow the Student Technology Acceptance Usage Policy may result in disciplinary action.
- Lost/Stolen Devices
If the device is lost, or stolen, parents and students must report the lost, or stolen, device to the Library to begin the process of locking the device.
Students, or parents, need to report the missing device if it was lost on campus. Depending on when the event occurred, the student may be asked to write a report. Attempts will be made to locate the device and return it to the student.
Students and parents need to report the device stolen within 15 days of theft. Parents/guardians must file a police report with the Sheriff's Office. Once the report has been filed, a copy of the report must be turned in to the Librarian to be scanned and uploaded in the system.
